Dr. Ranel Erickson brought a wealth of experience to Kaerwell, encompassing a multifaceted background in teaching, management, collaboration, and the development of e-commerce, database, and multimedia systems.
With a doctorate degree in Operations Research from Stanford University, specializing in the mathematical analysis of business opportunities, Dr. Erickson embarked on a dynamic career. He joined the faculty of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where he taught various computer-related courses. Concurrently, he founded Operations Analysis, Inc., a consulting business, and pioneered numerous software applications, including one patented innovation. As the Director of Technology, he played a pivotal role in guiding e-commerce company Purchase Pro, Inc., to a successful IPO during the dot-com era.
Collaborating with Ivaylo and Kate, Dr. Erickson focused on optimizing information systems connecting nutritional supplement distribution chains, from manufacturers to sales representatives, practitioners, and ultimately, patients. Following his retirement as an Emeritus Faculty Member from UNLV, he co-founded Kaerwell, serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this capacity, he led a team dedicated to developing and supporting streamlined software platforms for national wellness nutritional support.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Erickson found joy in his expansive family of eight children and 29 grandchildren. Committed to philanthropy, he championed charitable initiatives through Kokena.org, a 501(c)(3) organization. Notably, his contributions included the innovative NETGifting.com system, facilitating community members in exchanging gifts, and the curation of an ancient religious manuscripts database (RestorationEvidences.com), providing historical evidence of God’s love for his children. Driven by personal experiences, Dr. Erickson believed in the holistic approach to wellness, emphasizing the role of knowledgeable healthcare providers, nutritional supplements, and faith.
